We are Committed to Providing Support, Through Advocacy and Innovative Programs in
Partnership
with the Community and other Service Providers
- Crisis Intervention:
In person crisis response is available at the court house, hospital and local police
station.
- Counseling Services:
Professional, sensitive and confidential. Counseling is available for survivors, significant others
and family
members.
- Law Project:
Legal counseling and possible legal representation is available to individuals obtaining temporary
and/or
final restraining orders.
- Residential:
For those who cannot live safely in their current situation.
- Advocacy:
Legal, financial, housing and social services.
- Information & Referral:
CARA has strong working relationships with all county social service agencies.
- Community Education:
Educational presentations are available to all schools and organizations. Topics can be on domestic
violence
and sexual assault awareness, child abuse prevention and how to live safe, healthy and free. All
presentations
are free of charge.
- Food Bank:
County designated USDA food bank supplying emergency food to all clients and community
residents.
- Translation Services:
Available for over 100 languages.
